Famous Dog Influencers (Video)

Influencers have taken the Internet by storm. English dictionaries included the term ‘Influencer’ back in 2019, but influencers have technically been around for a while. Even without a specific term, ‘Influencer’ used to be reserved for celebrities. But now, thanks to social media, anyone can gain followers and create content. Influencers nowadays even include dogs. That’s right, lots of dog content! And we love it!

1. Doug

Doug the Pug was born in May 2012. He became famous in 2014, getting his start on Instagram, and has risen in popularity since then. He has over 18 million collective followers across different social media platforms. Doug has won two People’s Choice Awards for Animal Star and provided barks and snores for the 2021 animated film The Mitchells vs. the Machines as Monchi, the main character’s pet pug.

2. Nika and Kira

Nika and Kira are two Siberian Huskies who love to go on adventures. They live in Denver, Colorado, with their owners, Katlin and Jonathan. They go on many runs and hikes, and they love sledding when the temperatures get cold. They have over 200,000 followers on Instagram and have since crossed over to other social media platforms.

3. Jiffpom

Jiffpom is an adorable Pomeranian. This dog has quite an impressive list of accomplishments. He is known for appearing in The Adventures of Bailey: A Night in Cowtown as Felix in 2013 and was in the music video for Katy Perry’s song “Dark Horse” in 2014. He also was in an episode of Bizaardvark in 2016 and was in the Sims 4: Cats and Dogs game in 2017. This cute pup has Guinness world records for the fastest 10 meters on hind legs and 5 meters on front paws. He currently has 9.5 million followers on Instagram. Wow!

4. Tucker

Tucker Budzyn is a happy Golden Retriever who lives in Michigan. Tucker became famous for TikTok videos from 2018 to the present. His owner Courtney, also known as ‘Linda,’ would take short videos of his adventures and shenanigans. They were an instant hit! Tucker has since expanded to other social media platforms, especially with longer videos on YouTube trying different foods with doggie friends and family! He also was the 2021 Pet Influencer Award winner.

These precious pups just have a way of making us smile, and we’re glad they do! The most popular pet influencer breeds include mixed breed dogs, Pugs, Chihuahuas, Corgis, and Golden Retrievers, but the list doesn’t stop there. If you love dogs, there is surely one out there to bring you joy! Have a favorite dog influencer we didn’t mention? Let us know in the comments!
