I have a litter of puppies born to CKC-registered parents that I need to get puppy papers for!
This service is available to all litters born to CKC-registered parents, OR litters born to a CKC-registered dam and approved-registered sire.
Apply if... you have an adult dog registered with a CKC-approved registry that you would like to also register with CKC.
To register a litter with CKC, you will need the following information: your CKC member number, the CKC numbers of each parent dog (or appropriate registration certificate for a non-CKC registered sire *see info below), the litter’s DOB, and the total count of living puppies in the litter.
*To register a litter born to a CKC-approved registered sire, you (the breeder) must submit a copy of the sire's registration certificate when using the MyCKC Member Portal. If sending the request by mail, email, or fax, a Litter Application Form with the sire owner's signature and completed contact information, along with a copy of the sire's registration certificate, must be provided.
**A $5.00 total processing fee will be applied for all litters registered within a single transaction. Multiple transactions will result in multiple fees.

I have a puppy with a CKC registration application!
This service is for all puppies or dogs with a CKC-issued registration application signed by the breeder. These applications do not expire, and CKC does not charge late fees.
Apply if... you recently purchased a puppy from a CKC Breeder and received a Preprinted Puppy Registration Application. Use the information on your Preprinted Puppy Application to complete and submit your registration online or learn more about this service.
What if my puppy does NOT have a Continental Kennel Club puppy application?
- If your puppy is not currently registered with CKC, but DOES have a registration application or certificate with another CKC-recognized registry or club, please see “Dog Registration” below.
- If your puppy does NOT have any registration information, OR is registered with an organization that CKC does not currently accept, please see “PAW Program” below.

I have a dog already registered with a CKC-approved registry, and I would like to register it with CKC as well!
This registration service is for dogs already registered with a CKC-recognized organization, and you would like to have them registered with CKC, as well. Dual registration does not affect your dog’s registration with another organization and adds value to your dog and its puppies.
Apply if... you have an adult dog registered with a CKC-approved registry that you would like to also register with CKC.
I have an adult dog with CKC-registered parents, and I need to register it now.
If a litter was not registered before a year old, and the adult dog needs registration now, you can apply for registration using copies of the CKC-registered parents' official registration certificates and a signed bill of sale or contract provided by the breeder.
Apply if... you have an adult dog with CKC-registered parents, and the breeder did not register the litter before they were a year old.
Note: If you originally received a puppy application from a breeder for this dog and still have it, you can still submit it. For online, use "Puppy Registration Form." A new puppy application can also be reissued by calling Customer Service at any time.
If your dog is NOT registered with a CKC-approved registry, you can apply for CKC registration using the PAW Program or Non-Purebred Evaluation process (more information below).

I have a CKC-registered dog that I need to transfer into my name!
This service is for owners of dogs that were obtained with an official CKC Certificate of Registration that was signed by the previous owner. The new owner section must be completed by the current owner.
Apply if... you would like to register an adult dog that has a signed official CKC Registration Certificate (Certificate of Registration) into your name.
NOTE: If a third party has already completed and signed the “NEW OWNER” section, the newest owner must complete a Supplemental Transfer Form.

This program is for dogs whose ancestry is undocumented, unknown, or the dog has been registered with an organization that CKC does not currently accept.
Apply if... you wish to register an adult dog whose ancestry is undocumented or unknown, OR the dog was registered with an organization that CKC does not recognize.
Note: This program is based on an in-depth evaluation and does NOT guarantee registration with CKC. This program requires the submission of required photographs, measurements, and witness signatures to attest that the information provided is accurate.

I have a mixed or designer breed dog not registered with a CKC-approved registry, OR the dog's registered documents were never completed with CKC or another registry.
This program is for non-purebred dogs whose ancestry is undocumented, unknown, or the dog has been registered with an organization that CKC does not currently accept.
Apply if... you wish to register a mixed/designer breed dog whose ancestry is undocumented or unknown, OR the dog was registered with an organization that CKC does not recognize.
Note: This program is based on a photo evaluation and does NOT guarantee registration with CKC. This program requires the submission of required photographs and witness signatures to attest that the information provided is accurate.
