Watch: Puppies Learn to Howl and Bark

Is there anything cuter than a puppy’s first try at the whole barking thing? Not likely!

Boxer puppies, beagle puppies, husky puppies, indestinguishable little balls of floof—this video has them all!

It’s hard to believe that some of these sounds are coming from puppies. A few of them are mid-dream squeaks, others are not-quite-there-yet yodels, and one husky even sounds a lot like a baby goat.

Hey, we all had to start somewhere, and chances are if you’re a pet parent your voice probably went through its own changes at some point, too—of course, the results of that were probably a bit more embarrassing than adorable. You can even see a few pet owners trying to teach their pups the ropes in the video, including a guy howling along with a very eager little beagle student.
