We’ve always known our dogs love us, but now several studies have concluded that dog’s exhibit the same, or very similar emotional, behavioral, electrical, and chemical reactions that we do in response to affection-inducing situations that we interpret as “love” in humans. These responses lead many researchers to believe that dogs feel a feeling similar to, or perhaps the same as what we describe as “love” for us.
