The history of the Georgian Mountain Dog dates back hundreds of years, and it was developed in the high Caucasus Mountains, where these fearless dogs became invaluable protectors of flocks, homes, and families. Known for their loyalty, intelligence, and strong guardian instincts, Georgian Mountain Dogs are still trusted by mountain families in Georgia to stay with and protect small children while daily farming work is being done. They are natural defenders against wolves and even bears.
These puppies are being raised with care and love, and we are looking for the right homes where they will have the space, environment, and purpose to truly become who they were bred to be. This is not simply a pet breed — it is an ancient working and guardian dog with a powerful character, strong protective instincts, and deep devotion to its family.

His instincts are natural and unmatched. No stranger, wild animal, or unwanted visitor could ever enter our property without Guda knowing first. This is what Georgian Mountain Dogs were bred for over hundreds of years in the Caucasus Mountains — to protect families, children, livestock, and homes against real predators such as wolves and bears. Despite his massive size and strength, Guda is extremely loving with children and those he trusts. He lives with the confidence, awareness, and dignity that make this ancient guardian breed so special. Jumping over an 8-foot fence to chase a coyote and returning proudly with her hunt for recognition is something completely natural to her. Fearless, determined, and incredibly capable, she represents exactly what Georgian Mountain Dogs were bred to be for centuries in the Caucasus Mountains. At the same time, Godora is an outstanding mother and caregiver. She is still nursing her 6-week-old puppies, each already approaching nearly 20 pounds, while remaining strong, attentive, and protective.
