Watch: These Rescuers Make a Shocking, Heartbreaking Discovery

After receiving a tip from a concerned local who had heard the cries of an unknown animal coming from the bushes near a country road, rescuers showed up to investigate. Members of Howl of a Dog, a nonprofit animal rescue group based in Romania, arrived at the scene just in time to find seven puppies that had been abandoned by an exceptionally cruel individual: someone had stuffed the entire litter into a sack and left the puppies to die.
Sadly, some of the puppies didn’t make it, but a few of them managed to beat the odds and make a stunning recovery thanks to the efforts of Howl of a Dog team members.
